Nokt - Toyon and Trick

After helping Caraclie and Toyon take down the beast that terrorized their forests, and getting out of it alive, Iggy thought it would be wise to stay for the night. Trick had little energy to fly them back home. If they left now, they wouldn't make it halfway across the sea that they crossed to get here.
The boy watched from a spacious wooden perch as Falakros, atop Toyon, resumed their last patrol over the forest, double-checking for anymore damages. The aged gryph looked magnificent under the moonlight, showing off the gleam of galyx on her feathers. 
Trick shifted her weight. Iggy took it as a sign to get off, but as he swung his legs over to the side, the bird hissed.
